Network/Lan Play Issue

Since updating to 0.7.0.3 im having issues with LAN/Network play, previously I had 10 pc's setup here that would all work flawlessly for LAN play.

Each is on a wired connection, all are set to private network with new discovery enabled, firewalls allow connection through for project cartographer.

Now on all of them using build 0.7.0.3, using an offline account when going to network play none can see any lobbies setup by another PC.

Tested on a couple which still have 0.6.9.0 installed, these can setup a game and others using the same 0.6.9.0 build can see the lobby and join the game, ones on the newer builds can also see the lobby however cant join as the version does not match.

Has something changed in the latest build which is causing this issue? If so I guess I can simply copy the 0.6.9.0 game files from the working LAN machines and wipe out the 0.7.0.3 update on the ones that have it?

Thanks in advance.

You'll probably have to log into GitHub to download it.
LAN always had issues before and it was fixed within the past week.

Thank you, yes wasn't signed in.

Had the odd hiccups before over LAN such as PC's not being able to join if certain ones were hosting bizarrely but I usually use the same PC each time to start the match to overcome this.

Overall performance has been great and none have ever dropped out mid game even with some connecting via wifi.

Just put the DLL on them, worked for all but one. For some reason it cant see the lobby others have made and others cant see the lobby it has made.

Might just try a fresh install on the troublesome one.

Make sure you're using a port on the troublesome one that isn't set on any other machine in the config.

Thanks, set it to base port 3000 rather than 2000 however same issue persists.

Will keep adjusting various settings and see how it goes.

PC is communicating with others as I just tested it on an alterware-iw4x LAN session which joined fine.

Just an update for this issue, in the end I established the issue was not just present with Project Cartographer, pure coincidence it happened around the time I updated the game.

Spent the last few weeks looking into this every so often and could not for the life of me work out what was causing LAN game issues considering all pcs could access the network shares on that one pc as it's used as file storage too.

Then noticed when sending a ping request it bounced back an ipv6 address rather than the static ipv4. Disabled ipv6 on both devices and bingo, all LAN games are connecting to it again.

Just though it was worth mentioning in here in case anyone else happens to have a similar issue ever occur.

Don't know what caused the initial issue to be honest but at least it's sorted now.

Thank you so anyone that also tried to help!
