Move xinput dll out of the directory, then create tag, then move xinput dll back to directory when you're done creating tag. Or (not sure) use keyboard with no controller, for that process.

Some have had luck using Affinity on their machines while recording. Rec software was either the first 3 core's (quad core) last core for Halo 2. Or it was the first core h2v and the last 3 for recording software.
