My disk for halo 2 arrived today so I installed it and the project cartographer launcher. When I loaded the game I noticed the max resolution was 1920x1200 so I looked up a guide to get 4k. I used the dsfix config to get 4k, but all it does is make a 1080p window for halo 2 in the top left. Anyone got any fixes?
No, the game doesn't render properly at resolutions above 1920x1080 (Or those with a vertical height of higher than 1289)
This is due to text breaking, so the game would play fine at 4k, but there would be no text.
You can, put the game in windowed mode, and drag the window border to fill the screen (Cursor doesn't change but it is re sizable if you have cartographer correctly installed)
However, text would be broken at that resolution. You're better off either playing the game at 1920x1080 full screen or playing it at 2560x1289 windowed.
