Plug controller in before starting the game. I use xbone controller via USB. It works fine as long as it's plugged in before you start the game. I'm going to try getting the wireless adapter, xbone USB connection sucks big time. It comes out and just stops functioning, so I have to unplug it...

Hmm antivirus, updates, other programs running hogging the CPU, other settings, run high performance instead of quality settings? Idk :/ I've never had any issues really, from a Nvidia 7950gt 512mb +both sli, GTS 450 1gb +both SLI, :/ laptop? Maybe be heat issue?
